PayFast does not charge any setup or monthly costs. Sending funds is free, and receiving funds is free for Personal account holders, with Premier and Business account holders paying per transaction fees as follows:

Volume Discounts
We give discounts on the fees above based on monthly transaction volume.
The month after which your volume surpasses a given bracket, you may apply to PayFast for a reduction in your fees as follows:
eg. If you do R 120,000 in volume, your Instant EFT fee would be 1.80%.
