About Matla A Bana - A voice against child abuse

The main goal for Matla a Bana for the next three years will be to minimize the secondary abuse Children suffer, when they report crimes against them.

This secondary abuse is often more traumatic than the primary abuse. We reach more than 5000 raped and abused children through our various projects.

We supply comfort packs to child-abuse victims through the police, we implement child-friendly reporting facilities at police stations, we train police officers and doctors in dealing with child-abuse victims, we supply support services with equipment and we mobilise community groups to assist victims and the police (more than 100 active volunteers).
