About RE-Foundation

A medical team from Pretoria visited Uganda in June 2009 on a fact finding mission. They had been touched by the story of a rebel army mutilating and injuring people, abducting women and children and destroying lives in war-affected Northern Uganda.

The team’s vision is to improve the medical care provided to these vulnerable people, who have no access to reconstructive surgery, specialized medical support and dental care.

Re- also plans basic and further education of medical personnel in Uganda.
