Ukash is a voucher based payment method which is enabled on PayFast.
Ukash enables you to buy things online without needing a credit card or even a bank account.

Where can I buy Ukash vouchers?
You can buy Ukash vouchers at retail outlets which display the Ukash logo.
The most prominent outlet in South Africa, is Pick n Pay and Shoprite Checkers. If you have any trouble when purchasing Ukash at a Pick n Pay, print and take this coupon to the store to assist a cashier who may not be ware of the system.

Can I accept Ukash vouchers which were bought in a country other than SA?
Yes, with PayFast you can accept Ukash vouchers which were bought in countries other than SA.

How do I load Ukash onto my account?
You don't “load” your account with Ukash as such, but rather use your Ukash voucher when paying a PayFast seller who allows Ukash payments.
Find out if the seller you wish to pay supports Ukash and then, when going through the payment process, simply select Ukash as your payment option and enter your voucher details to pay.

Can I combine multiple Ukash vouchers into one?
Yes, you can combine multiple Ukash vouchers into a single voucher (eg. 3 x R50 vouchers into 1 x R150 voucher).
To do so, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Ukash website
- Click on the Toolkit icon in the top right corner
- Login to your account or register for one
- After you're logged in, a screen will be displayed allowing you to combine or split your vouchers
