Newly added shopping cart modules

When shopping cart and eCommerce solution providers add PayFast as a supported payment method it says, at the very least, that we’re doing things right and that the South African (and international) market is happy with what we do.

New PayFast shopping cart modules

The latest members on our ever-growing list of supported shopping carts are: CS-Cart, Jamroom, Squirrelcart and WPJobBoard.

CS-Cart and Squirrelcart are shopping carts for selling products, and have a whole lot of features and add-on modules available. Visit their respective websites to learn more about their features and pricing.

Jamroom is a social media platform designed to connect artists and musicians with their fans through blogs, reviews, ratings and of course: video and audio sharing (and selling).

Last, but not least, we have integration with WPJobBoard which is (you’ve guessed it) a WordPress job board plugin. This is a great solution for web developers, entrepreneurs, bloggers and recruitment agencies who want to run their own job boards. See more features here.

To learn more about integrating these with PayFast, visit our Developers page. You can also browse through all of the modules with PayFast integration (34 and counting) on our Shopping carts page.

Happy selling!

  1. Surprisingly, there aren’t any South African payment gateways which are available through Freshbooks.com – we use them, but don’t have a viable choice to process credit cards through their service. Many South Africans use Freshbooks … perhaps a business opportunity for PayFast!?

  2. Hey Dale,

Thanks for the message, and yes, we agree.

We have actually made touch with them not too long ago, but things like these take time (and persuasion, in some cases). We’d love it if you sent them a message saying that you would like ZAR integration 🙂

In the meanwhile, you can send clickable payment requests to your Freshbooks customers via email using our Request Money feature.

We’ll update here and through our newsletter for all new platform integration news.

    Thanks again for your message!

  3. hi i would like to sell downloadable products.(e.g. PDFs). Do you guys have provisions for such products?

    thank you in advance
    carl

  4. Hey Carl,

Yes, most shopping carts with PayFast integration support this feature.

If your site is built with WordPress, you can sell digital downloads using the WooCommerce or WP e-Commerce plugins. It is also supported on the self hosted solution Shopify and is probably the easiest to set up. Most carts (including the open source ones like OpenCart and PrestaShop) allow for this feature, kindly check their websites and forums for compatibility and downloadable product integration help.

    Best,

    The Team @ PayFast

  5. I must agree with Dale. Having a PayFast module in Freshbooks would be great. I would definitely make use of it and I know many clients would like that option as well.
