Most shopping carts and payment/billing systems with PayFast integration has their own settings to notify you when someone pays you.
If, however, you have a custom built platform, receive donations, use HTML buttons or send payment requests via email, you might want to enable email confirmation. This way you will receive an email from us each time someone makes a payment or donation to your account.
Bigger merchants (those with hundreds of daily payments) probably want to keep this function switched off, as you don’t want to get bombarded with payment notifications.
Also, be sure to add us to your mail contacts list, so that the notifications don’t accidentally end up in your spam folder.
