South African Institution of Chemical Engineers

The South African Institute of Chemical Engineers, also known as SAIChE – IChemE is a voluntary association for professional Chemical Engineers, dedicated to advancing the science and practice of chemical engineering. The aim of the society is to promote high standards in the profession by enhancing the professional competence of its members.

A formal collaboration between SAIChE and IChemE has been in place since 2014. SAIChE – IChemE is recognized by ECSA the Engineering Council of South Africa.
