Calebs Trust

Hey, my name is Caleb Keegan. I'm twenty-two years old and I have a zest for life. Soon after I turned fifteen I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma - a generally easy-to-treat Lymphatic Cancer. I say unexpectedly because it's the last thing one would expect at fifteen!

I am generally quite stubborn and like to deal with stuff on my own but this is something I cannot do alone. Just the drug alone will cost around R2 000 000 and although my parents are helping me as much as they can, we have to raise most of the funds needed for this treatment. So that’s why I’ve decided to turn to others for help. I have established CALEB'S CANCER TRUST and my prayer is that if enough people make a small contribution then that should be enough to cover these costs and leave enough over to help others that find themselves in a similar situation. My plan is to continue raising funds even after all my treatments so that I can make a difference to those in need.

I will be honest with you, I am scared. I'm scared because over the past seven years I have allowed the treatment programs and the cancer control my life. I have only recently found peace within all this and have just started living.

So this is my cry for help. Please help me have this opportunity to stay alive and keep living.

I hope that one day, I too can help someone like me. Let's do this together. I cannot do this without you."
