Känguru

Känguru Institute provides severely disabled children with social inclusion opportunities through year round recreational activities, respite care as well as intense training in the day to day life skills. Känguru Institute also brings relief to families of children with disabilities.

Känguru Institute is a Public Benefit Organization for children who are severely disabled between the ages of 3 – 18 years.

The Känguru home for disabled children opened on 1 September 2011.

The Känguru Home is ideally located in Klipriver, which is central to Sedibeng, Ekurhuleni, Midvaal and Johannesburg Metro in the Gauteng province.

The kids reside in a homely, un-crowded environment at this institute. Our home will only accommodate 21 children where they will receive education and therapy through an individually developed program for each child.
