The Put Foot Foundation has THREE principal objectives:
1. Assist the thousands of school children in the Republic of South Africa who are so poor that their families cannot afford to buy them shoes.
2. Conserve and protect endangered animals such as the rhino.
3. Make funds available to, and assist and collaborate with, PBOs which are engaged in 18 Activities.
The Put Foot Foundation is a volunteer based, proudly South African, Public Beneficiary Organisation (PBO) and Not-for-Profit Organisation (NPO) born out of the need to tackle the daily plight and indignity of children with no shoes.
That means everyone involved in our organisation contributes in every and any way, to raise awareness and funds for shoes. Everyone gives what they can: time, energy, skills, services, everything from the mundane to ordinary to the extraordinary! We are all 100% Africa Positive!
We operate across the whole of South Africa, particularly in the less privileged and rural areas, as well as in Southern Africa on special occasion or when special needs arise.
