Joshua Empowerment is a registered non-profit organisation founded by Ps Samuel Yuma in 2000. Moved by the love for humanity the founder believes that everyone has the right to live and should be empowered to fulfil his/her dreams. Since its inception JEP has its passion to uplift, empower, support, train and meet the basic needs of the targeted communities. Out of love for humanity the initiative responds to community challenges related to illiteracy, HIV/AIDS and poverty.

The organisation began its activities in 2001 as Para-church activities and was officially registered as an NPO in 2002 by the department of Social Welfare and Development. Despite lack of Resources and funding at times the organization still operated by continuing to provide services to communities and thereby maintaining its mandate to serve others through GOD’s love.
