SakhiKamva

We are a small non-profit organisation/ project seeking donation support to help ensure that as many matric students in the marginalised Eastern Cape as possible have access to higher education and training and take advantage of education which enriches their lives now and open opportunities for their future in South Africa and maybe even abroad.
We were founded 2016 and have subsequently played a role in delivering opportunities to the students that need them the most. We have reached over 2 000 matric students in more than 20 high school in Mthatha and its surroundings with just a team of 15 members and have put nearly 160 in South African universities.
We have our roots in Mthatha. Our leadership is drawn from former students who have experienced the life of our students and who understand their need and most importantly relate to them.
In our actions we strive for honesty and transparency. Decisions are guided by a commitment to social justice as well as a long-term commitment to the communities we serve. We aim to undertake our responsibility with care, wisdom and love.
We value and affirm our students’ diverse backgrounds and cultures and respond sensitively and effectively to their particular needs
