WALK of Life For Chatsworth Hospice is a 550km first time ever walk across India, from the EAST COAST to the WEST COAST. The walk is inspired by Bala Gangiah a cancer survivor to motivate others to survive and succeed against all odds.
Chatsworth Hospice was established in 1991 to provide holistic palliative care to patients suffering from Cancer, HIV and Chronic diseases. It is also a support system for family and friends of the sickly, helping them to cope and manage the sickness and or bereavement. All services are provided free of charge. Chatsworth Hospice has no state funding and is supported by individuals, companies, organisations and fundraising initiatives. Chatsworth Hospice is managed by volunteers who receive no salary.
We strive to provide access to quality hospice palliative care to all in need of such care, within a culture of excellence and best practice.
Founded on the principle of selfless service and provided entirely free of charge, our services are offered to people who are incurably or terminally ill from cancer and other malignant diseases and to their families, irrespective of race, creed, gender, age or sexual orientation.
