Door of Hope Childrens Mission

Door of Hope is one of the organisations that receives and cares for the abandoned or unwanted babies from the inner city of Johannesburg, Berea, Hillbrow, and the greater Johannesburg area. Our doors have been open for 19 years and we have managed to love and care for over 1600 children. Door of Hope is unique in that we have a “Hole in the Wall” where we have placed a Baby Box, monitored 24/7, so that absolutely desperate mothers who want to stay anonymous can give their child a chance at life and place them in a safe place.
