FOUR PAWS Animal Welfare Foundation

FOUR PAWS is an international animal welfare organisation founded in 1988 in Vienna, Austria. The vision of the organsiation is a world without animal suffering.This vision is achieved through the support of targeted project work and campaigns, that ensure quick and direct assistance for animals in need.FOUR PAWS was established in 2006 in South Africa and on 1 February 2007 commenced the first South African Project; LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary. FOUR PAWS in South Africa is campaigning to put an end to the cruel and abusive practices of hunting captive bred predators, amongst other projects for animal welfare education and the establishment of a mobile animal care unit.
