Grassroots Youth Academy

Assisted by volunteers, we offer after school tuition to approximately school children in Khayelitsha on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings. Jongi Kanko, one of our trustees, is a professional boxing coach and trains young boxers, one of whom was crowned national champion in 2017. We run a cycling programme in which 18 children participate. 9 cyclists completed the Cape Town Cycle Tour this year. We have just purchased our property in Khayelitsha and are looking to develop it.
