Hospice Rustenburg

Who Does Hospice Provide Care To?
Anyone with a life-threatening illness, such as cancer, HIV/AIDS and end-stage chronic illness, is eligible for care.

What Is 'Palliative Care'?
Palliative Care is any form of medical care or treatment that concentrates on reducing the severity of disease symptoms, rather than striving to halt, delay or reverse progression of the disease itself; or provide a cure.

The goal is to prevent and relieve suffering for people facing serious, life-threatening illnesses; and to provide a better quality of life for both the patient and his or her family.
