The urgent need to help our clients enjoy a nourishing meal daily inspired the establishment of the JCS FoodBank in 2016. Using what resources we had available to us, we established our FoodBank initiative and provided many families with food parcels as they needed. The food parcels ensures that when a client arrives at the JCS office, they are able to leave with a food parcel to feed their families for a few days. Less than a year after introducing the FoodBank and with the help and support of the greater community, we are proud to announce that we have moved from having our FoodBank housed in a single cupboard at our offices to having occupied two custom fitted rooms, graciously provided to us by Highlands House for this purpose. We are now able to fully stock our FoodBank, with enough space for storage and ensuring that we never run out of stock.
