KAZIBA DRC ORPHANAGE

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is one of the poorest countries in Africa, with a long history of civil war, political turmoil, and economic strife. Added to this dangerous mix has been the spread of HIV/AIDS, as well as various other contagious diseases, such as the Ebola Virus.

Kaziba DRC Orphanage is a non-profit organization striving to expand it’s offerings to the community, locally and internationally.

Kaziba DRC Orphanage was founded in 1957 in the Democratic Republic of Congo by the Norwegian Missionaries. Our aim is to eradicate poverty, not only in the DRC but also locally, in South Africa. Kaziba relies on funding from a variety of sources such as Corporate Organizations, foundations, individual donors and special events. Funding is always a challenge.

We know that raising funds takes time, but we also know that if we all join hands together, our goals can be achieved. Our goal is to enlighten the lives of little children in order for them to grow as future leaders in our society. There is so much needed!
