Ladles of Love is a volunteer-run soup kitchen and feeding program for the homeless of Cape Town. Since it was established in July 2014, it has been serving hot meals to the homeless in the Cape Town city bowl each and every Tuesday. Weekly kitchens also now run every Thursday and Saturday without fail. It is a registered non-profit project with the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) and currently feeds over 800 hot meals to the homeless every single week.
Ladles of Love is a partner in Days of Hope - a schools-based initiative who aim to inspire, educate and feed South Africa's underprivileged youth. Now running a weekly feeding scheme for 250 vulnerable children, they are looking to expand on this as soon as possible.
