L.I.G.H.T. Ministries began in 2009, as a one on one ministry, to those who needed help healing. Then from there it developed quickly into a home church in 2012. Our main aim was and still is to fulfill the great commission, which means, to preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons and heal the broken hearted as well as make disciples.
Part of that great commission includes teaching, leading, worship and building community. Close to the Lord's heart are the poor, both spiritually and physically, therefore we have chosen to try make this our priority by contributing in anyway possible to the upliftment and caring of any who are poor and destitute, both physically and spiritually.
L.I.G.H.T. Ministries is called to glorify God through the choice we make to lay down our wills and lives, to do His will and live His life through us. We desire to lead stable, settled lives that reflect His love! Reaching the dark corners of the world through the power of the Holy Spirit means going into places where many Christians would not go, however we will go, by God's grace as Holy Spirit leads, A great desire of ours is to see the church restored to its original function on the earth as representing God's Government and to create a place of worship for Him to abide in.
L.I.G.H.T Ministries is currently looking at fulfilling a vision God gave us in 2007, to start a farm where minsitry and business can almalgamate to form a self sustainable community. Where we can be of service to God and people, in bringing His will and purpose into the earth and into individuals lives.Our love for the Word of God and for His Presence sets us apart in that we believe in Truth (fear of God and His word and His will) and Grace (love and the Father and our position in Him). If we have Truth without grace it becomes legalism, and if we have Grace without Truth it becomes lawlessness. Therefore we treasure God's Word and His loving presence, looking for balance in our natural and spiritual lives, so that we can bring Glory to our Father God!
We look forward to the day we stand before our Lord Jesus Christ and we hear Him say, "Well done good and faithful servant" ......However we look even more forward to the day when we hear Him say, "I know you, you may enter into My Rest!"

Our mission is to bring Jesus to the people, uplift the poor and needy and assist in community development.
Our Mission

We do what we do because we love God and people! God loves people and they don’t know it. So we desire to show them this love through the experience of God healing and speaking into their lives. The Lord doesn’t want us to be in pain or to be sick. He is a loving Heavenly Daddy that desires for all people to be restored to Him though Christ who died for them. We at L.I.G.H.T Ministries long to see the captives being set free and whilst we let the Lord use us we pray we may bring Him all the glory.

Prayer Ministry

The foundation of our ministry is based in prayer. We pray for those we minister to, and for those who are part of our church. We pray according to God's leading. The Holy Spirit prompts us what to do and we obey accodingly.

Prophetic Ministry

Our ministry is prophetic in nature as we operate mainly in the prophetic gifts, the discerning of spirits and word of wisdom and knowledge, gift of dreams and visions, interpretations of the dreams and visions etc. We find we can sometimes put God in a box, which limits the effectiveness of how God wants to work, but if we are led by Holy Spirit, then it opens the box up!.
