I2BA SKILLS TRAINING is a nonprofit organization registered with the Social Development (RSA) as I2BA NPO, registration number 216-849NPO focussing more on Education, Health and Job Creation. Our organization operates in and not limited to Durban South areas.

EDUCATION

With an increasing number of scarce skills in South Africa, we took an initiative to host Career Guidances annually. This helps correctly channelling our youth to the right careers. This, in a long run, will also help South Africa minimize the number of school leavers and unemployed graduates.

RSA stats shows that our unemployment rate increases by at least 0.1% every 6 months (this refers to stats released by Stat SA showing that in April 2019 RSA was on 29%, 6 months later it's on 29.1%) an increasing number of of school leavers also affects these stats. Unconfirmed stats shows that 60% of unemployed youth do not have grade 12 (high school diploma) and our organization focuses in those youth members also, decreasing the level of illiteracy in South Africa. Following our Career Guidances we use those stats and data captured from the event to empower relevant people, youth and AET graduates in this case, with skills that they use to make a living. We need funding to get crowd pullers, buy/hire a marquee, buy prizes for top students and educators for each year (especially focusing on Maths and Science), T-shirts and printing. Estimated budget of R300 000 ($20 000)per annum

HEALTH

With an increasing number of unemployment we also witness a high number of people who die because of heart diseases and an increasing number of overweighted people. This is as of people having plenty of time to eat junk food, sleep and watch TV.

On our calendar annually, we also host awareness Campaigns in a form of Community Walks/Fun Runs. We use this platform to encourage people to engage to healthy lifestyle by ensuring that their groceries have more greens and less sugar, they also drink enough water and they excersize.

We need funds to buy a site and gym equipment which is part our main goals, estimated at R2 600 000 ($174 000) including a 5 year security plan. For each community Walk, we need prizes for our walkers (encouraging them), winners (spotting of a talent to direct those individuals to the right path), hiring of stages and sound system, T-shirts and printing, administration (inviting stakeholders, paperwork), marketing (posters, loudhailing, interviews), estimated 2019 budget R256 000 ($17100) per annum.

For our overall administration and operation we need a long base bakkie, estimated at R250 000 ($17 000) which we will use to rove around different meetings and our different agricultural programmes to ensure our organization's financial stability. We also need a laptop and a printer for our Secretary for a safe keeping of our records. Estimated at R89 000 ($5400)
