Parklands Hindu Cultural Society

Parklands Hindu Cultural Society (PHCS) is an organisation formed in August 2008 to promote and preserve the Hindu religion, language and culture on Cape Town’s West Coast.
Though 2012 saw us face a major challenge when we lost our venue at Ashwood Centre, Parklands, Cape Town, we’ve continued to soldier on in line with the objectives of our organization.
We recently celebrated our 5th anniversary demonstrating what we stand for as an organization. The celebration was combined with the hosting of a very successful religious event which saw us showcase our religion, culture and PHCS’s vision in many ways.
PHCS has since successfully registered as a Nonprofit Organisation (NPO) with the Department of Social Development. This serves as assurance to the public and any interested party on the management of the organisation, particularly on the financials.
We need your help to continue. We hereby appeal to the general public, who share our vested interest in preserving and promoting Hinduism, to come forth and support this cause. It is an opportunity to contribute to the legacy our forefathers have brought to these shores more than 150 years ago.
