Periods For Hope (226 - 728 NPO) is a registered non-profit organisation that aims to empower high school learners by running sexual health workshops. These workshops include intimate discussions about menstruation, gender, self-esteem and gender-based violence (GBV). PFH's aim is to allow young girls to talk openly about their menstruation cycle, foster healthy self-esteem attitudes and receive sustainable solutions for their menstrual cycles through reusable sanitary kits. Young male learners also participate in workshops that educate them on the female body, gender roles and gender-based violence (GBV). As a result, this enables them to eliminate the stigma of menstruation, contribute to ending GBV and pass along the message to other male peers.
