South African Orienteering Federation

The South African Orienteering Federation, SAOF, is the controlling body for Orienteering in South Africa. It was formed after the introduction of the sport of Orienteering into South Africa in 1981. Several orienteering clubs in South Africa are affiliated to the SAOF.

Within the last year, the SAOF has invested significantly back into SA orienteering via a number of development initiatives, as well as bolstering the EMIT timing system.

The SAOF is currently fundraising for the Big 5 O map fund, which assists the Big 5 event in mapping new and exciting areas to a high standard.

All donations are greatly appreciated!
