THE RIGHT TO LIGHT

The Right to Light NPC is a section 21 Non-Profit Company with a focus on providing solar reading lights to rural communities and schools in Africa along our journey from South Africa through to Ethiopia travelling in a Land Rover Forward Control IIB.

The goal of our journey is to hand deliver 15000 solar reading lights and lanterns to children and their families who do not have access to electricity.

In doing this, we aim to enable children and adults to study at night time, whilst reducing related health risks and environmental concerns associated with the current lighting options available, namely Paraffin, Kerosene and candles, whilst at the same time being able to witness the beauty and magic that the continent of Africa has to offer.
