The Darcey Sunshine Foundation

Over 600 children drown in South Africa each year. These statistics just mention the children who do not survive, they do not cover the many children who survive a near drowning, left with irreversible brain damage through lack of oxygen!

The Darcey Sunshine Foundation aims to impact these devastating statistics through free swim safety education courses for children from vulnerable communities, teaching the children not only how to swim, but more importantly how to keep themselves and their friends safe around water, and what to do in case of emergency.

Help us expand our programme today with a donation,

R300 / £15 will sponsor a child's swim pack (bag, towel, costume, cap) allowing the child to fully embrace their swim journey. Reference "SWIM PACK"

R1000 / £50 will sponsor a child's entire 12 hour swim safety course. By referencing "SWIM COURSE" on your donation, receive a personalised email at the start and end of the course, documenting the child's progress to swim safety thanks to your kindness. (This could be spread over 4 monthly payments of R250)

Why not help us spread the Sunshine today... together we could save a life.
