The PEACE Foundation Trust

P.E.A.C.E. Foundation
The P.E.A.C.E. Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to alleviate rural poverty through sustainable Local Economic Development (LED).
The P.E.A.C.E. Model
The P.E.A.C.E. Model was designed to coordinate and facilitate strategies that promote LED. At the heart of the model is the provision of centralised community access to information, with a focus on the cooperative model and improved educational standards.
The model has a holistic approach to development, which accommodates and services the five central components of the P.E.A.C.E. acronym, namely, Planning, Education, Agriculture, Community (Cooperatives) and Environment.
These components, in conjunction with the structure and needs of individual communities, guide the development of enabling environments in rural communities that enable globalisation, prosperity and sustainable development where poverty once prevailed.
