The Stroke Aid Society’s aims are:
1. Through support groups, encourage social interaction, promote independence and self confidence in stroke patients and their families.Support groups meet regularly in Norwood, South Rand & Soweto.
2,To provide an information service.
3.To increase public awareness of strokes.
4. To network with other similar organisations.
