The Student Fund

The cause donors support is to finance the education of the underprivileged youth unable to afford tertiary education at public TVET Colleges. These are individuals that are between the age of 16 to 40 and financially dependent on single mothers earning the minimum wage, grandparents on social grants, orphans, family members with a combined household income below R325k per annum, etc.
In addition to securing the education of thousands of young people who are currently not in education and not in employment, donors are also solving the following social problems:
- Reduce crime by giving education and civilising the youth
- Reduce political manipulation of the youth as a more educated youth can think for itself and be less prone to populist politics
- Boost the economy by making the South African economy more competitive through a large skilled work force
