The Waste to Wealth Africa Trust

The Trust has the following Charitable Objects:
8.1 The following Conservation, Environmental and Animal Welfare objectives:
8.1.1 Engaging in the conservation, rehabilitation or protection of the natural environment, including flora, fauna or the biosphere.
8.1.2 The promotion of, and education and training programmes relating to, environmental awareness, greening, clean-up or sustainable development projects.
8.1.3 Without in any way limiting the generality of the objects in clauses 8.1.1. and 8.1.2, the Trust shall in lieu thereof specifically focus on (though not be limited to) the development and furtherance of waste recycling programs and initiatives including but not limited to:
8.1.3.1 developing and operating waste recycling centres,
8.1.3.2 engaging in or promoting educational initiatives in relation to waste recycling,
8.1.3.3 engaging in or promoting waste recycling activities in general and
8.1.3.4 engaging in or promoting the creation of businesses which derived their income whether directly or indirectly from waste recycling.
8.2 The following welfare and humanitarian objectives:
8.2.1 The provision of disaster relief.
8.2.2 The rescue or care of persons in distress.
8.2.3 The provision of poverty relief.
8.2.4 Community development for poor and needy persons and anti-poverty initiatives, including-
8.2.4.1 the promotion of community-based projects relating to self-help, empowerment, capacity building, skills development or antipoverty;
8.2.4.2 the provision of training, support or assistance to community based projects contemplated in item 8.2.4.1; or
8.2.4.3 the provision of training, support or assistance to emerging micro enterprises to improve capacity to start and manage businesses, which may include the granting of loans on such conditions as may be prescribed by the Minister by way of regulation.

8.3 The following education and development objectives:

8.3.1 The provision of education with respect to the recycling of waste;

8.3.2 Training for unemployed persons with the purpose of enabling them to obtain employment;

8.3.3 The provision of educare or early childhood development services for pre-school children;

8.3.4 Educational enrichment, academic support, supplementary tuition or outreach programmes for the poor and needy.
