Ukhanyo Foundation is a second chance program that gives young people from the under privileged communities support to re-write their matric and be successful in life.
1. Academic support which includes, tutoring classes (both in class and online), providing our students textbooks, providing them internet access and supporting them with transport costs to attend classes.
2. Self-Development and mentorship- this involves self development sessions addressing different topics faced by these young people. And group and one on one mentorship.
3. Career Pathways - Career pathways includes career guidance, introduction to entrepreneurship, basic computer training and connecting these young people with opportunities during and beyond matric.
We believe that education is not the way to escape poverty, but it is the way to fight it.
